Before working here, Mr. Wood worked in many different facets at a golf course in Manchester. He started caddying when he was 11, and then worked as a golf professional after college. He attended a college in Maine. He decided to be a math teacher because he's always liked math, and he hates writing papers. Math really is his favorite subject. His favorite part about working here is the kids. For him, the worst part about it is the in-service days and staff meetings. It is easy for him to relate to his students because he is so young. He's 27 years old so he has the same music and TV interest as most of us. This is year one for Mr. Wood at TVHS and so far it's exactly as he hoped. He was the girls jv soccer coach, and now he's running an after school activity that's called Outdoor Skills. Mr. Wood tries to give out a little homework everyday, but it's always a small amount. Mr. Wood is a great teacher and like to make his class fun. He likes to play games and gives breaks to keep us awake.
