Final pages grading:
3 Pages 20 points each = 60% grammar, spelling, links, photos with alt tags
1 page video or podcast 10%
Overall layout banner, colors, readability 15%
Information sources 15%
Work on final projects.
Note Star an online way to take notes and stay organized.
Some students still need to finish podcasts. The rest of the class can begin their final projects.

Research Technology - Research any topic that interests you in the technology field: are you hearing about the Tesla (the new totally electric cars; robotics; under-the-skin chips for techies; the latest in tech gear; whatever interests you!
Pick a topic; try these sites for some general topics which might interest you, or find one of your own. Make sure to check with me before you begin so I can okay your topic.

Students will finish and then share their podcasts. The class will learn about evaluating a web site for authority, accuracy, objectivity, currency, and coverage and why it matters. Here is a checklist to help you out.
When you are ready to save your podcast for your web site: In Garageband
Click on Share > Export Podcast to Disk
Choose:
Compress using MP3 and Audio Settings should be set at Spoken Podcast
Give it a name and choose where you want to save it to.
