Twin Valley High School is a student centered learning environment which respects and encourages the unique gifts within each individual.
We seek to develop motivated students who are partners with teachers and parents participating in a quality education so that they become lifelong learners, personally and socially responsible citizens and inspiring leaders.
TVHS seeks to foster scholarship, creativity, self-discipline, independent thinking, accountability, and respect. We strive to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and character to achieve personal success.
We are a grade 9-12 school of 375 students from the southern Vermont towns of Whitingham, Jacksonville, Wilmington, Readsboro, Halifax, Searsburg, Marlboro and West Dover. We are located in the Deerfield River Valley, Mt. Snow is a few miles away.
Our academic year is divided into two semesters; report cards are issued four times per year, and academic notices are issued at the midpoint of each marking period.
We are located off Route 9 in downtown Wilmington. Route 9 runs east/west between Bennington and Brattleboro, VT.
From the west: Entering town on Route 9 from the west look for a blue street sign that says "Twin Valley High School" one block after going through the main traffic light intersection in town. Take a right onto School Street. The school is the large building on your left. Parking is available in the front or rear (rear for sports events, gym is located at rear entrance, fields are behind school).
From the east: Entering town on Route 9 take the first left after the Chittenden Bank, which is School Street, before you get to the main intersection in town. The school is the large building on your left. Parking is available in the front or rear (rear for sports events, gym is located at rear entrance, fields are behind school).
