I earned my BA with an English Certification from SUNY Geneseo. Then, I earned my MS in Reading from SUNY Cortland. I continue to take classes in everything from technology to instructional methods.

After spending a year subbing, I began teaching 9th grade English in Whitesboro, NY. I have also taught in Concord, NC and Cazenovia, NY. In 2000, I moved to Vermont and began teaching at Wilmington Middle-High School, which became Twin Valley High School in 2004.
