John Steinbeck: Of Mice and Men & Travels with Charley We will be listening to Of Mice and Men in class. There is an extensive study guide to use as you are listening. Be sure this is completed with thoughtful responses. In addition, there are some introductory activities (click here) that you are to complete. Your intro. activity will count as a double homework grade. If you are having trouble with any of the vocabulary, allusions, or idioms, check out the link! English 11Honors will be reading Travels with Charley at the same time. Please read the link about the novel and Rocinante. Since Rocinante refers to the novel, Don Quixote, read the summary of that too. You are to write a list of 5 pieces of information you learned in connection with the novel -- be sure one of your pieces connects to the idea of dreams in Don Quixote. |
